The ancient community of Odo-Owa in Oke-Ero Local Government Area came alive with celebration following the elevation of His Royal Highness, Oba Joshua Adegbuyi Adeyemi, to the prestigious status of a First Class King.
The monarch, also known by his traditional title, Adimula Odundun Asodedero, washonouredd in recognition of his leadership and enduring contributions to the growth and unity of the kingdom.
In a congratulatory message, Oyeyemi Adeniyi Olajide described the elevation as a long-anticipated and well-deserved milestone. He commended the monarch’s wisdom, dedication, and unwavering commitment to fostering peace and development within the community.
Olajide noted that the recognition marks a significant moment not only for the royal institution but also for the entire Odo-Owa community, emphasizing that the monarch’s reign has been characterized by stability and progress.
He further highlighted the importance of collective effort in achieving the milestone, paying tribute to the people of Orota land whose contributions—both past and present, have strengthened unity and advanced communal growth.
