The Ogun East Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Oluwafemi Omotayo (Omoowo), on Tuesday, 30th June 2026, welcomed the Ogun State PDP Governorship Candidate, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, alongside party leaders, candidates and stakeholders to the Ijebu Traditional Council during a courtesy visit to the Awujale’s Palace and the Ojude Oba Pavilion, Ijebu Ode.
The delegation comprised House of Representatives candidates, Hon. Wale Ogunbanjo and Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole (ABO), House of Assembly candidates for Ijebu Ode, Ijebu North East, Ijebu North and Odogbolu State Constituencies, members of the State Working Committee led by Deputy State Chairman, Chief Abiodun Ogunremi, party elders and other stakeholders.
Omoowo said the visit underscored the PDP’s deep respect for traditional institutions and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to promoting peace, inclusive governance, cultural values and sustainable development across Ogun East and Ogun State.
