On December 17, 2024, during the inaugural ceremony of the Ogun East Independent Chapel (Ijebu-Remo) of the Ogun State National Union of Journalists, the Area Commander of the Nigeria Police, Ijebu Ode Police Area Command, ACP Edward Omoniyi Omosanyi, delivered an inspiring goodwill message to the Chapel’s members.

Speaking alongside other heads of security agencies present at the event, ACP Omosanyi assured the journalists that his office is always open to professionals seeking information for legitimate and ethical reasons. He encouraged practitioners to prioritize peace and societal development in their reports.
