I, Omoowo, do rejoice with the good people of Apunren and neighbouring communities on the positive developments recorded in the long-standing land dispute involving their ancestral lands.
This development demonstrates that constructive dialogue, responsible leadership, and collective advocacy can yield meaningful results for our people.
I particularly commend Distinguished Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, FNSE, FAEng, for his commitment and intervention in championing the concerns of the affected communities. Leadership is ultimately measured by service, responsiveness, and the ability to stand with the people in their moments of need.
